I’m Dan. I have a good friend, his name is Ben. Ben is tall and thin. He is funny and hard-working. He is active in class. He often works hard on holidays. He gets up at 6:00 a.m. on holidays. 我一直认为，朋友是心与心的相知，A friend in need is afriend indeed，至今也没有改变过，但我却不相信有真正的朋友存在。这种想法是不是一种讽刺与悲哀?
我曾试着去结交朋友，但每次的交往总使我觉得很辛苦。也许是自己独来独往惯了，在我心中独自一人才轻松。琦琦是我的朋友，我与她的交往始于一年前，那时我们刚被分到一个班，又被分到同桌，自然也就熟悉起来。开始时，觉得她有些特儿，后来，时间久了也觉得无所谓了。相处时间长了，我俩便成了朋友。友谊风平浪静。我一直认为自己在不断地适应她,生怕自己失去这个朋友，终于，我到了不能再“忍”的时候，也就是从那天起，我渐渐地与她疏远了。没过多久，她似乎也习惯了，但我却总觉得过意不去。
有一天，我对她说:“中午一起去吃饭吧?”她并没有回答，只是笑了笑。当最后一节课结束后，望着她与另一位同学出去的背影时，我的心忽觉轻松，仿佛又找回了自我。以后的日子仍是风平浪静。
当我不经意地重新审视她时，在我的眼里她变了，变得比平时更快乐更自信，平时未听她提起过的刘国梁，如今成了她的偶像。我的心一颤，心朝翻滚，再也无法风平浪静。原来，在与我的交往中，她也在忍耐与习惯着我，我真为自己的不在乎而悲哀，为自己的自以为是而悲哀，为自己的自私自利而悲哀。
目前，我仍像以前一样独往独来，很是轻松，而惟一改变的就是:我认为世界上的确有真正的朋友，只要你勇于付出，懂得珍惜。
